Filipe Nuno Carlos - Resume

Filipe Nuno Carlos started his career in February 1990, first as a Developer and then as Analyst and Project Manager. In 2000, he takes on the Management of a Unit that offers Software Testing and Quality Assurance Professional Services. In 2004, the unit expanded its offering to Computing Security Services.

In 2006, he started his entrepreneurship career and founded WinTrust, focused on the niche market of software testing and certification. In 2010 he was also one of the founder members of PSTQB - Portuguese Association for Software Testing, taking on its Presidency.

He has a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon) and an MBA in Information Management (Universidade Católica - Lisbon School of Business & Economics). He is also certified by ISTQB® with the Foundation and Advanced Levels (Test Manager and Test Analyst).

He collaborates with the Universidade Lusófona and Universidade Católica - Lisbon School of Business & Economics, as a teacher for several Executive and MBA Programs, namely “The Lisbon MBA” program.

Sérgio Pena Dias - Resume

Over the past 20 years, Sérgio has held several positions in the Information Technology, Private Equity, Semiconductor, Health and Banking markets.

Currently is the Chairman of an IT/IS Group of Companies and he also was CEO, COO, CFO and Executive Vice President of several Multinational and Portuguese companies.

Sérgio holds a Degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University, is a Post-Graduate in Management from the University of Edinburgh and also holds an MBA by ENPC Paris.

José Fernandes - Resume

He is the WinTrust Managing Partner since its foundation, in 2006. He has a relevant experience of over 20 years on the Information System industry, especially in the areas of software and services. Having a past close link to multinational companies, he has worked with Oracle Portugal, Unisys and Compta. He is also a Board Member of Timestamp SI and Timestamp:biw.
